Refreshing Raspberry Iced Tea Recipe for a Summer Day

Nothing beats a cool glass of iced tea on a hot summer day, and this Raspberry Iced Tea recipe is the perfect blend of sweet and tart flavors. It's easy to make and is sure to impress your guests at your next summer gathering.

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups of water
  • 6 tea bags (black tea or green tea)
  • 1 cup of fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes

To start, bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Remove from the heat and add 6 tea bags, allowing them to steep for about 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and discard.

Next, add 1 cup of fresh raspberries to the pot and let them steep for about 10 minutes. Strain the tea and raspberries through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher.

Add 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice to the pitcher, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature and then chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

When serving, pour the raspberry iced tea over ice cubes and garnish with fresh raspberries and lemon slices. Enjoy!
