Ingredients:
- 1 pound of pasta
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound of sausage, sliced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and bell pepper and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
