Chips and guacamole are the perfect combination for a party or a snack. This recipe is easy to make and packed with flavor.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Tortilla chips
To start, cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and place it in a bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork or a potato masher until it reaches your desired consistency.
Add the diced red onion, jalapeno, cilantro, salt, and lime juice to the bowl. Mix well to combine all ingredients. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Serve the guacamole with tortilla chips on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
