Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup of diced ham
- 1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup of Dijon mustard
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
First, preheat your oven to 400°F. Then, roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface. Spread the Dijon mustard evenly over the pastry sheet.
Next, sprinkle the diced ham and grated cheddar cheese over the mustard layer. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Roll the pastry sheet tightly into a log and slice into 1-inch thick pinwheels. Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the beaten egg over the top of each pinwheel. This will give them a nice golden brown color when baked.
Bake the pinwheels in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are puffed and golden brown. Serve warm and enjoy!
