Fudgy Brownies Recipe - The Ultimate Decadent Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon espresso powder (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the sugar and stir to combine.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
  4. Add the cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, espresso powder (if using), and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  5. Add the flour and stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
