Grilled cherry tomatoes with balsamic glaze is a perfect appetizer or side dish that is easy to make and bursting with flavor. This recipe is a great way to showcase the sweetness of cherry tomatoes and the tanginess of balsamic vinegar.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of cherry tomatoes
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Rinse the cherry tomatoes and pat them dry. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the cherry tomatoes to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until they are well-coated.
Thread the cherry tomatoes onto skewers, leaving a little space in between each tomato. This will make it easier to flip them on the grill. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the tomatoes are slightly charred and softened.
Remove the skewers from the grill and place them on a serving platter. Drizzle the remaining balsamic glaze over the tomatoes and sprinkle with a little salt and pepper. Serve hot and enjoy!
