Ingredients:
- 1 can of chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup of tahini
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon of cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4-6 pita breads
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Sea salt and black pepper to taste
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F
- Rinse and drain the chickpeas and remove the skin for a smoother texture
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth.
- If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of water until it reaches your desired consistency.
- Cut the pita bread into wedges and place them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with sea salt and black pepper.
