  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, sliced (optional)
First, soak the kidney beans overnight in cold water. Drain and rinse the beans before using. In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the sausage over medium-high heat.
