Shrimp Scampi Linguine is a mouth-watering dish that combines succulent shrimp, tender linguine, and a flavorful garlic butter sauce. This recipe is quick and easy to prepare, making it a perfect choice for busy weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound linguine pasta
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until al dente, according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter with the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the shrimp and red pepper flakes, if using, and cook until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside. Add the white wine and lemon juice to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  5. Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add the cooked linguine and parsley to the skillet and toss to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Serve hot and enjoy!
