Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. pork shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 hamburger buns

To begin, season the pork shoulder with chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Place the pork in your slow cooker.

In a separate bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, and any additional spices you may desire. Pour the sauce over the pork in the slow cooker, making sure it is fully coated.

Cook the pork on low heat for 8 hours, or until it is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
