Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until browned, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and sauté until the onion is translucent.
