If you're a fan of Korean cuisine, you're probably familiar with bulgogi. This popular dish is made with thinly sliced beef that's marinated in a sweet and savory sauce before being grilled to perfection. In this recipe, we're taking things up a notch by adding some healthy brown rice and vegetables to make it a complete and nutritious meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. thinly sliced beef sirloin
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp. grated ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 4 cups cooked brown rice
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as carrots, bell peppers, and onions)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds

Marinate the thinly sliced beef sirloin in a mixture of soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes. This will infuse the beef with flavor and tenderize it, making it juicy and delicious.

Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and add the marinated beef. Cook for 2-3 minutes until browned and caramelized. Then, add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until they're crisp-tender.

To serve, divide the cooked brown rice and bulgogi beef and vegetables among 4 bowls. Top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds for added flavor and crunch. Enjoy!
