Ingredients:
- 1 pound of fresh strawberries
- 10 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of cookie crumbs (your favorite cookies, crushed into small pieces)
Begin by rinsing and drying your strawberries. It's important to use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor and texture.
Next, melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave. Stir frequently until the chocolate is smooth and completely melted.
Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat the entire berry. Then, roll the chocolate-covered strawberry in the cookie crumbs until it is fully coated. Place the strawberry on a lined baking sheet and repeat until all the strawberries are coated.
Allow the chocolate to cool and harden, which should take around 30 minutes. Once the chocolate is set, you can serve the strawberries immediately or store them in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
