Hearty Beef and Mushroom Stew Recipe

  • 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into cubes

  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the beef cubes and brown on all sides for about 5 minutes. Remove from the pot and set aside.
