  • 1 pre-baked 9-inch pie crust
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Whipped cream, for topping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash 2 bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
  4. Add egg yolks and milk to the dry ingredients, whisking until fully combined.
