Ingredients

  • 1 pound of flank steak, sliced thinly
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 package of stir-fry noodles

Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking the stir-fry noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, set them aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the sliced flank steak and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add in the sliced bell peppers, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Add the cooked flank steak back into the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in the soy sauce mixture and stir until everything is coated in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
