  • 1 pound of penne pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced into thin pieces
  • 1/2 cup of basil pesto
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
To start, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook until al dente, according to the package instructions.While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.Once the pasta is done cooking, drain it and return it to the pot.
