Ingredients:

  • 4 cans (15 ounces each) of navy beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 pound of bacon, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of molasses
  • 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain the excess grease.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion until softened.
