Looking for a delicious and healthy side dish? Look no further than this roasted turnips recipe, seasoned with fresh thyme and rosemary. Not only is it easy to make, but it's also packed with nutrients and flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium-sized turnips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

To start, preheat your oven to 400°F. Next, peel and chop your turnips into small cubes. Place them in a bowl and toss with olive oil, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper until they are evenly coated.

Spread the turnips out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure there is space between each piece. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the turnips are tender and golden brown.

Once the turnips are finished roasting, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. This recipe goes great alongside roasted chicken, or as a vegetarian side dish with some quinoa or brown rice.
