Delicious Chicken Satay Recipe with Peanut Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of boneless chicken breast, cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup peanut oil
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, curry powder, minced garlic, black pepper, and peanut oil to make the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, mix together peanut butter, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, black pepper, and water over medium heat.
  2. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and heated through, about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, and stir in lime juice. Let cool to room temperature before serving.
