How to make a delicious Chai Tea Latte at home

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of water
  • 3 black tea bags
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the tea bags, cinnamon stick, ginger, cardamom, and cloves. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the milk, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
  3. Return the saucepan to the heat and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
  4. Use a fine-mesh strainer to strain the mixture into a large mug or two smaller mugs.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Tips:

  • You can adjust the sweetness of your chai tea latte by adding more or less honey.
  • For a creamier texture, you can use half-and-half or heavy cream instead of milk.
