Ingredients:
- 2 cups of water
- 3 black tea bags
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Directions:
- Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the tea bags, cinnamon stick, ginger, cardamom, and cloves. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the milk, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
- Return the saucepan to the heat and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Use a fine-mesh strainer to strain the mixture into a large mug or two smaller mugs.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Tips:
- You can adjust the sweetness of your chai tea latte by adding more or less honey.
- For a creamier texture, you can use half-and-half or heavy cream instead of milk.
