Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup of Italian breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 jar of marinara sauce
- 1/2 pound of linguine pasta
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh basil
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Start by pounding the chicken breasts until they are thin and even.
- In a shallow dish, mix together the Italian breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
- In another shallow dish, beat the egg.
- In a third shallow dish, add the all-purpose flour.
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat them in flour, shaking off any excess.
- Dip the chicken breasts in the beaten egg, then coat them in the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture.
