Lemon Garlic Shrimp and Asparagus Pasta Recipe

  • 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb. asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Directions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant.

  7. Return the shrimp to the skillet and stir to combine.
