Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package (16 ounces) potato gnocchi
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

To start, heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
