Ingredients:
- 1 cup of whole almonds
- 1 cup of dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- Sea salt for topping (optional)
Start by laying out a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet.
Next, pour the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil into a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave the chocolate chips and coconut oil on high for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between each interval until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Add the whole almonds to the melted chocolate and stir until the almonds are fully coated in chocolate.
Use a spoon to scoop out the chocolate-covered almonds and place them onto the parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
If desired, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the almonds for an extra burst of flavor.
Place the baking sheet into the fridge and let the chocolate-covered almonds cool and harden for at least 20 minutes.
Once the chocolate has hardened, remove the baking sheet from the fridge and enjoy your delicious homemade chocolate-covered almonds!
