Baked Brie with Fig Jam and Walnuts Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 round of brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup of fig jam
  • 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten

To begin, preheat your oven to 400°F. Unwrap the brie and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Next, spread the fig jam onto the top of the brie. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top of the fig jam.

Take the thawed puff pastry sheet and roll it out slightly. Place the brie in the center of the puff pastry. Wrap the puff pastry around the brie, pinching the edges together to seal it. Brush the beaten egg over the puff pastry to give it a golden brown finish.

Bake the brie for 20 to 25 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Remove your delicious baked brie with fig jam and walnuts from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving with crackers, bread, or sliced fruit.
